Redundant Punctuation
Mad scramble
for a word that fits.
Fishing for a simile that suits
a moment, transitory in time.
If I could juxtapose justice
with poetry,
would the phrase
be pretty enough to print?
A simpler truth
cannot be told than this:
Poetry exists,
not to prove,
but to probe.
Therefore; no poem ends,
but meanders to a point
of confused conclusion
as it discovers that punctuation
doesn't end a question;
merely caps the quandary
at the nearest
feathering apex.
